Ms. Hastie concentrates her practice in litigation with an emphasis on complex insurance coverage issues and also has significant experience in complex commercial and employment matters, both in state and federal court.
While attending law school, Ms. Hastie worked with the Seton Hall Center for Justice Housing and Homelessness Clinic and for Legal Services of New Jersey, where she assisted people with housing and welfare issues. She is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University, where she was a member of the Culinary Honors Program, and of Seton Hall University School of Law.
Following law school, Ms. Hastie served a one-year term as law clerk to the Honorable Ronald B. Graves, J.A.D., in the Superior Court, Appellate Division.
Ms. Hastie was selected for inclusion in New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in years 2011 through 2016. The Super Lawyers list is published by Thomson Reuters.
