Mr. Malet concentrates his practice in litigation, with an emphasis on professional liability defense. Mr. Malet also has experience in the area of personal injury, criminal defense, civil rights, and estate proceedings.
Mr. Malet obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland. Mr. Malet received his Juris Doctor in 2015 from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he was a member of the Juvenile Justice Clinic representing youths in detention hearings and pool cases. While attending law school, Mr. Malet served as an intern with Legal Services of New Jersey, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, the Honorable Shioban A. Teare, J.S.C. and the Honorable Verna G. Leath, J.S.C. After law school, Mr. Malet served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Frank Covello in the Superior Court of New Jersey – Essex Vicinage, Civil Part.
