Local Property Taxation

At Graham Curtin, we have attorneys with the local property taxation expertise needed to provide full service and counsel to our clients who are evaluating or consummating commercial, industrial, retail, or warehouse real estate purchases or leasing transactions, or who may own such property.  We can easily complete the analysis that tells our clients whether their property, or potential property, may be over-assessed and a good candidate for a tax appeal.

Our attorneys have represented both taxing districts and taxpayers across the state.  They have handled tax appeals involving manufacturing facilities, refrigerated processing and warehousing space, apartment complexes, malls, office buildings, vacant land and hotels, and dealt with legal issues related to added/omitted assessments, reductions in assessment due to fire damage, farmland rollback, Freeze Act considerations, tax payment prerequisites, and eminent domain.
